Mi365's podcast

Thanks for checking out my podcasts. Think of it as free resource, think of it as a top coach dispensing advice for nothing, think of it what you will, but it’s there and I’m there to be exploited. All I want in return is for thousands of people to join in the conversation and share their positive tales too. We all want to live a happy life and we all recognise constructive changes we could make to improve things. On January 1st, enthusiasm is in the air. We are reinvigorated after a Christmas break and often motivated to make significant changes in our lives. However, fast-forward several weeks and the numbers don't look too good - 92% of us will have broken our New Year's resolution and slipped back into our old ways. This special 4-part podcast series is designed to help you stay in the 8%, offering practical tools, tips and strategies for how to have your best year yet.

In Parts 1-3, Pete discussed transforming our resolutions into revolutions, desperation vs. inspiration as driving forces and how to make and break habits. In Part 4, Pete concludes the series by sharing with us the secrets behind changing an ordinary day into a great day and the massive impact this can have on us.

What does a great day look like? Many of us make the mistake of sitting back and waiting for a good day to come to us like sort of miracle. Unfortunately, great days don't happen by chance - but happen when we take a series of positive steps to master the mundane and set ourselves up to win. By following the PERMA model of happiness, we can not only be successful but also feel happy and content by the time we go to bed.

Pete shares with us his 'Miracle Morning' rituals including sleeping right, rising early, journalling (and drawing!) and eating/drinking right and how it has had a transformational effect on helping him to achieve his goals.

My takeaway is if I don’t plan my day, I’ll simply be reacting, it’s messy and chaotic - so I’ll be working on mastering the mundane.

Great podcast. I must master the mundane and stop wasting time that I cannot get back and apply PERMA.

What’s my biggest takeaway from this podcast? There were many ‘special’ moments but I would have to say it’s the concept of making this year better than last. Make today better than yesterday. Structure your day by mastering the mundane - do my unique rituals every morning to ensure I start the day how I mean to go on.
Great series of Podcasts, thanks Pete.
