Why is it important to be mentally resilient?
So many people today are ‘going with the flow.’ They align themselves to the latest trends and fashions and work hard to be like everyone around them. Yet, they never feel truly satisfied.
Humans really want to grow and make a contribution to the world and that can’t be done by doing the same as everyone else.
To make that shift, however – to move away from the certainty of fitting in and getting your sense of significance and connection by doing what you’ve always done – you need to be mentally resilient. You need to step away from the familiar and seek to meet higher needs.
