We can all choose where we live. We’re not talking about
location – we’re talking about where we choose to put our attention
– the past, present or future.
We have a lot of thoughts. Each day, we have an average of
50-70,000 thoughts – all with the potential to radically alter our
emotions, mood and physiology. Research shows that for most of us,
many of these thoughts are connected to the past and this creates
problems for moving forward and living our best lives.
In this episode, we explore the link between thoughts and
physiology and describe how our bodies become our subconscious mind
– especially after 35. Over 70% of the population suffer from
chronic stress and this manifests itself as the ‘victim mindset’.
Pete explains that our thoughts work in a cycle of positive
feedback – reinforcing these negative beliefs.
