Mi365 Daily Intentions

Nov 14, 2017

Many of us have grown up listening to stories of good triumphing over evil. However, in reality, there is a constant battle of good vs. evil raging inside us all - and everyone has the ability to either reward or inflicting pain upon themselves.

In this episode, Pete describes the far-reaching consequences that 'being hard' on ourselves can have and the challenges of escaping this mental programming. Pete also discusses the practical tool of perspective shifting and how you can use it to disconnect from the negative self to move forward into greatness.

In this episode, you will learn:

  1. The duality of human nature and how we inflict pain upon ourselves
  2. How to choose greatness using a three-stage process (Smile, move forward & perspective changing)
  3. How to identify what is holding you back and why the future will be better than it is today.

The battles we can have inside us can be fierce and can lead to self-destruction (know it too well). As soon as it’s looked at differently, things can change; which I can relate to, too! I have the power within me to do anything. It’s only been the last couple of years of practicing mindfulness that it’s become clear that I must practice it everyday so that I do not fall back. Great podcast! Thx, Pete!
