Mi365 Daily Intentions

When you think of a genius, who first comes to mind? An artist? Scientist? Sports player?

Regardless of the subject area, geniuses exhibit similar traits that can all lead to finding fulfillment and becoming successful.

In a brand new special eight-part series, Pete explores the common factors linking geniuses and explains how you too can become a genius.

In Part 7, we explore the life of Mahatma Gandhi. Born in 1869, Gandhi faced a lot of adversity and failure. After struggling as a lawyer, Gandhi moved to South Africa where Indians were second class citizens because of the colour of their skin.

Rather than succumb to the status quo, Gandhi fought for political reform, equality and changes to society without the use of violence. In 1915, Gandhi returned to India during the struggle for independence from the British Empire and became a popular figurehead for peaceful progress and a national hero before assassination in 1948.

How is it possible to refrain from violence when under constant attack? What about 'attacks' from negative ideas? How do we protect ourselves against the thoughts of others?

Learn from Gandhi:

1. The types of violence that we face and how to overcome with peace;
2. Why forgiveness requires you to be stronger than the perpetrator;
3. How to change the world through changing yourself.
