How we live our lives is governed by our emotions. We often
consider our emotions to be spontaneous and outside of our control
yet in reality, this is very far from the truth. Many people live
lives full of chronic stress and negative attitudes and the impact
of this is clear to see - physical sickness, depression, anxiety
and loneliness.
In order to live life at the fullest, we must learn to take
control of our emotions. We can choose what feeling we want to
experience - yet this ability is hidden through lack of conscious
effort. Society causes us to foster emotions of being 'not quite
good enough' and once coupled with our biological predisposition
for feeling fear, it can become difficult to switch back to a
positive mindset.
How can you regain the ability to maintain a positive mental
attitude? In this episode, you will learn the importance of
meditation in combatting stress and how we should treat our
thoughts (like we treat our nutrition!)
