Pete Cohen Podcast

Thanks for checking out my podcasts. Think of it as free resource, think of it as a top coach dispensing advice for nothing, think of it what you will, but it’s there and I’m there to be exploited. All I want in return is for thousands of people to join in the conversation and share their positive tales too. We all want to live a happy life and we all recognise constructive changes we could make to improve things. We’re all on a journey, so let’s share it with the world and create a snowball effect of positivity! Visit Petecohen.com for more info

Do you have daily aches or pains? Did you have those pains in your 20s and 30s? If not, what triggered your discomfort and are these pains treatable or an inevitable part of ageing? In this fascinating episode of Mi365 Podcasts, we are joined by fitness expert and nutrition pro Colin Deans as we lift the lid on the ageing process and the listen to the story of a truly inspirational man.

Colin starts by sharing his story of a lifetime in the fitness industry and how it changed suddenly after a stroke and cancer in quick succession. Describing the emotional journey he had as a result of having a stroke as a fitness professional, Colin outlines how important his mental and physical fitness helped him to bounce back from what might otherwise have been a very different story.

Post trauma, Colin gained a new interest in defying the ageing process and started specialising in training for the over 40s. He describes two common challenges encountered by his clients: 1) gaining weight around the gut and 2) regeneration of damaged tissue and how outlines the importance of hormones levels in regulating these conditions.

In 30 short minutes, you will learn:

  1. The hormone changes that take place in the menopause and why it's a problem for men as well as women;
  2. How to move in accordance with our natural design;
  3. The importance of monitoring what comes out of our bodies (as well as what goes in!)
