"Hell is coming to the end of your life and meeting the
person you could have become"
We all have the power to do incredible things. However, our
ability to achieve is governed by two forces - forward into
growth or stagnation in our comfort zones. By
adopting a 'This is Me' mindset, we can learn to fill the void
between where we are and where we want to go and ignore the
negative voice within - otherwise known as the 'Duck'.
Pete describes the dangers of negative self-talk i.e. "I just
don't feel like it" and how this causes us to slowly destroy our
future potential by eroding away time. Pete outlines how we can
combat the negative inner voice by 1) having a crystal-clear vision
of who you want to become and 2) becoming aware of
microdecisions - the sum of the small, almost
insignificant decisions that we make hundreds of times per day.
Together, by mastery of these skills we can regain control over our
personal power and become a better version of ourselves.
